Learn when elite monsters can spawn, how their star tier is selected and what changes in combat and loot.
Elite creatures are stronger versions of normal monsters marked by stars. More stars mean a harder fight and stronger reward potential. Bosses can also spawn with elite stars.
Elite rolls are tied to eligible monsters in the Bestiary system.
After a valid kill, the next spawn has a chance to become elite.
Elite I, II and III have progressively stronger combat modifiers.
Elite kills can grant more experience, gold and special loot.
| Rule | How it works |
|---|---|
| Elite tiers | Elite I has 1 star, Elite II has 2 stars and Elite III has 3 stars. |
| Valid monsters | The monster must belong to the Bestiary. Summons and existing elites do not trigger another roll. |
| Party eligibility | Shared Experience must be active, and members must deal or receive damage. |
| Party stage | The highest relevant Bestiary stage in the eligible party may determine star chances. |
Both increase according to the configured star tier.
Damage and survivability are enhanced at higher tiers.
Defeating an elite creature grants additional experience.
Elite creatures can drop extra gold based on star tier.
| Loot rule | Effect |
|---|---|
| Tier boost matrix | Higher elite tiers improve the chance of higher-tier item drops. |
| Extra loot tables | Some monsters gain additional loot entries when they spawn as elite. |
| Surprise Bag | 10% at Elite I, 20% at Elite II and 30% at Elite III. |
| Opening a bag | The result rolls both item type and rarity according to the elite star. |
